Four persons were killed and three injured when a car in which they were travelling rammed into a container truck in Andhra Pradesh’s Guntur district on Wednesday, police said.
The accident occurred on the Chennai-Kolkatta highway near Vankayalapadu when the car crashed into the container truck from the rear.
The victims, all relatives, were returning to their village in Chittoor district after attending a marriage in East Godavari district.
The dead include the car driver and two women. The injured were shifted to a hospital in Guntur.
