Elon Musk wants to relocate a million people to Mars

Musk said, in response to people who inquired about the launch of Starship to the Red Planet, "One day, a trip to Mars will be like a flight across the country."

On Sunday, billionaire Elon Musk revealed his intentions to relocate a million people to Mars.

A article on X.com stated, “We are mapping out a game plan to get a million people to Mars,” by Musk.

“Civilisation only passes the single-planet Great Filter when Mars can survive even if Earth supply ships stop coming,” he stated.

The statement “Starship is the largest rocket ever built and it’ll take us to Mars” was made in response to a post on social media.

Musk said, in response to people who inquired about the launch of Starship to the Red Planet, “One day, a trip to Mars will be like a flight across the country.”

“Starship should be able to make it to the moon in less than 5 years,” stated the creator of SpaceX last week.

He mentioned that the astronauts will go the farthest from Earth in more than 50 years on board the SpaceX Dragon spacecraft. Living on Mars will need a lot of work, according to Musk.

In addition, Musk expressed his hope in January that SpaceX would be able to fly people to the moon in the next eight years.

What will the situation look like in eight years?Musk stated, “I believe we will have sent people to the Moon and I believe we will have landed on Mars.”

Moreover, he wants to establish a base on the moon.

“Humanity should have a moon base, cities on Mars and be out there among the stars,” the owner of the X stated.

“We ought to establish a lunar base that is inhabited by humans permanently, and subsequently relocate people to Mars. We’ll see, but perhaps there’s more out there than the space station “in the past.

Musk also expects the third Starship flight test of the year to successfully enter orbit and demonstrate the spacecraft’s dependability in deorbiting.
